Boeing Unveils Nine Appointments to Executive Council; David Calhoun Quoted

Boeing (NYSE: BA) has expanded its executive council to include nine senior leaders in a revamp of the aerospace and defense contractor’s operational structure.

“These appointments build on prior actions designed to simplify and align our structure, sharpen our focus and move our leaders one step closer to our work,” David Calhoun, president and CEO of Boeing, told employees in a letter Wednesday.

Calhoun said ExCo members will review businesses and operations across the company on a regular basis, examine strategic matters and support the internal decision-making process.

Uma Amuluru, Grant Dixton, Dave Dohnalek, Chris Raymond and Kevin Schemm will retain their current capacities at Boeing while serving on the council in the respective areas of compliance, law, treasury, sustainability and finance.

The group will also include four senior leaders who currently oversee Boeing’s Enterprise Process Councils for an initial term of up to two years.

William Ampofo will represent supply chain operations for ExCo, while Mark Jenks will serve as the representative for program management.

Tony Martin and Bill Osborne will represent quality and manufacturing, respectively.
