Messer Wins $126M Contract to Build Intell Production Center at Air Force Base

Messer Construction has won a $126.3M contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to build an intelligence production center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio for the Department of Defense's efforts to analyze foreign threats in the air and space domains.

Army Corps of Engineers received three bids for the construction project at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center and obligated the full contract amount from fiscal 2020 military construction and defense-wide funds, DoD said Wednesday.

The Pentagon estimates that contract work will be finished by Jan. 29, 2023.

NASIC analysts work with intelligence agencies to collect multisource data on air and space threats for use in military, force modernization and policymaking activities.
