PAE-Parsons JV Gets Potential $545M Naval Base Operations Support Contract

A joint venture of Parsons (NYSE: PSN) and PAE (Nasdaq: PAE) will help the U.S. Navy manage its joint military  base with the U.S. Air Force in Guam under a potential $545.3M contract.

DZSP 21 will support port operations and manage facilities, utilities, equipment and support vehicles at the Joint Region Marianas installation, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific, received five proposals for the cost-plus-award-fee contract that consists of a mobilization base period, six option years, one nine-month full period of performance, three-month demobilization and an additional six-month extension.

The DoD, Navy, Defense Commissary Agency, Army National Guard and Department of Veterans Affairs collectively allocated $48.5M to cover the contract’s face value.
